Supporting the Next-Generation Vehicles

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) provide vehicles with the ability to perceive and analyze what's happening around them in all driving conditions. FPGA devices and platforms can support various driving assistance technologies such as cameras, radars, and LiDAR. Forward-View cameras are a vital component of ADAS and Automated Driving, as captured images and processing provide the vehicle with sensing capabilities required for vehicle perception, control, and path planning. Other cameras, such as the 3D Surround-View Camera, supports Automated Parking Assistance (APA), allowing surround view capabilities through stitched images to effectively navigate around obstructions. Imaging radar and LiDAR sensors use radio waves and lasers to detect short, mid, and long range objects to support various ADAS and Automated Driving features through complex processing of signal data.
